Full-service accounting firm: bookkeeping, tax filing, the annual close and a licensed audit
For accounting work that needs a licensed auditor's opinion, or that is more complex than an ordinary monthly cycle, we work with the accounting firm in our group. Its team includes CPA auditors and licensed TA bookkeepers, files through the Revenue Department's e-Filing system, supports e-Tax Invoice, and takes work in every province through an online document flow.
Zura Labs & Business Hub Co., Ltd.
Short answer
How does this differ from Zura Labs' own monthly accounting, and which should you pick?
Our own team runs monthly accounting for small companies with modest document volume, keeping every deadline met and every month retrievable. This page is the full accounting-firm service through our affiliate: right when a licensed auditor's opinion is needed, when payroll is large, when foreign shareholders need bilingual reporting, when back-year statements must be taken over from a previous accountant, or when the Revenue Department opens a review. If you are unsure, send one sample month and we will tell you which team fits.
- Need a licensed auditor's opinion on the statements: use the affiliated firm
- Ordinary monthly work for a young small company: our own team covers it
- Unclosed back years or months of missing documents: hand it to the accounting firm
- In every case, filings go through e-Filing and records are kept for the statutory period

What Thai Law & Accounting (affiliated accounting firm) covers
Monthly bookkeeping
Recording entries, bank reconciliation, monthly close and internal statements so the owner sees real numbers every month, under the reporting standard for non-publicly accountable entities.
- A chart of accounts matched to how the business actually earns, not a generic one
- Missing documents flagged monthly instead of chased at year-end
Tax filing of every type
VAT on PP.30, withholding tax on PND.1, PND.3 and PND.53, half-year and annual corporate income tax, plus specific business tax and signage tax where they apply.
- Filed through e-Filing with each month's proof of submission retained
- Input tax invoices checked before use, to reduce argument during a review
Payroll and social security
Salary calculation, employee withholding, social security and provident fund contributions, with monthly PND.1 and SSO 1-10 filings and the annual PND.1Kor summary.
- Payslips issued each cycle, cutting end-of-month questions
- Joiners and leavers reported on time so contributions stay correct
Annual close and licensed audit
Closing the annual statements, obtaining a licensed auditor's opinion, preparing PND.50 and submitting the statements to the DBD within the statutory deadline.
- A limited company needs an audit every year, even a year with no income
- Supporting documents completed before the auditor starts, cutting rework
VAT registration and tax registrations
VAT registration when the threshold is reached or a client needs tax invoices, taxpayer ID applications, change filings, and getting the document cycle right from the first invoice.
- The THB 1.8 million threshold and its consequences explained before registering
- Tax invoice layout set with every item the law requires
Switching accountants and back-year handover
Taking over from a previous accountant: checking which years are closed and submitted, tracing missing documents, and planning how to bring outstanding work back on track.
- First check which statements or returns were never submitted, so the real exposure is known
- Penalty exposure stated honestly; no promise that there will be none
Companies with foreign shareholders
Bilingual reporting, figures summarised for a parent company or foreign investor, and financial statements prepared to support visa and work permit filings.
- Coordinated with the affiliated legal team when licences or visas are involved
- Reports consistent with what is filed with Thai authorities — never two conflicting sets
Handling a Revenue Department review
When a letter or review arrives: gathering documents, preparing the written explanation and attending with the company, always based on the documents that actually exist.
- Documents organised around the points raised
- Options and likely consequences laid out so the owner decides on facts
From first contact to a finished matter
- 1
Send one sample month
Send last month's purchase and sales tax invoices, bank statement and employee data. No tidying needed — it is for sizing the real workload.
- 2
Check the back-year status
Verify whether previous years' statements and returns were closed and submitted. If anything is outstanding, the exposure and the fix are stated honestly before new work begins.
- 3
Agree the scope and who is responsible
Set out who does the monthly work, who signs as bookkeeper, who audits, and by which day of each month documents must arrive.
- 4
Run the monthly cycle
Documents in, entries recorded, tax and social security filed on time, then a monthly summary with proof of filing returned for your records.
- 5
Close and submit annually
Close the books, obtain the audit, file PND.50, submit to the DBD on time, and summarise what to improve next cycle.
Stated plainly, before you decide
- No promise of zero penalties or surcharge — that depends on the past facts and the officer's assessment
- No adjusting figures and no back-dated documents without real transactions behind them
- No fees published: they depend on document volume, VAT status and headcount
- No promised approval or refund dates — those are not within the firm's control
Answers before you hand over a matter
Should I use Zura Labs' accounting or the affiliated firm?
If you are a young small company with modest paperwork that mainly needs monthly filings on time, our own team covers it. If a licensed auditor's opinion is required, back years are outstanding, payroll is large, or the Revenue Department has opened a review, the affiliated firm should take it. Send one sample month and we will tell you which fits.
Does a limited company need an audit every year?
Yes. A limited company's statements must be audited and signed off by a licensed auditor before submission. Even a year with no income at all still requires books, a close, an audit and a submission — there is no dormancy status that removes it.
Can I switch accountants mid-year?
Yes. What matters is a complete handover: ledgers and a trial balance up to the latest month, proof of past filings, the name of the bookkeeper who signed, and any original documents held for you. Check all of it before ending the old engagement.
When must I register for VAT?
Generally once revenue from goods or services passes THB 1.8 million a year, VAT registration must be filed within the statutory period. Some businesses register earlier because clients need tax invoices. Either way a monthly PP.30 filing follows.
Can I send documents as files?
Yes. The firm works mainly through an online document flow, which is why it can take work in any province. Some originals must still be kept by the company for the statutory period, generally at least five years.
Some months were never filed — what now?
Disclose it and file the missing periods. Late filing carries penalties and surcharge by law — nobody can promise otherwise. What can be done is stopping the accumulation quickly and sequencing which periods to file first to reduce the total.
Can this run together with the legal team?
Yes, and many matters need both: collecting a trade debt using accounting records as evidence, visa and work permit filings that need financial statements, or an acquisition where both books and contracts must be reviewed.
What do I need to get started?
The company affidavit, taxpayer ID, VAT status, last month's purchase and sales documents, the bank statement and employee data if any. That is enough to scope the work and say which month to start from.
Local pages: the courts, offices and logistics where you are
Each page states which offices a matter normally goes to in that province, the local business mix we see, and whether we have our own office there.
