Sector-specific business licences and permits

Many businesses cannot start selling after incorporation because a sector licence is still missing.

Zura Labs & Business Hub Co., Ltd.

Short answer

Incorporation gives you a registered entity, but many activities need an additional sector licence: food and cosmetics under food-and-drug rules, restaurants and premises from the local authority, tour operations under tourism licensing, and transport or construction under their own regulators. We first identify which licences your business needs, which body issues them, and what premises and paperwork you must prepare.

What you receive
  • A licence list by issuing body with the recommended filing order.
  • A checklist of documents and premises conditions to prepare before filing.
  • A completed application pack, with follow-up on queries.
  • An expiry and renewal calendar for every licence.

How we work

Step by step

  1. 01

    Define the real activity

Establish what you sell, whether you manufacture, where you sell and who buys.

  2. 02

    Map the requirements

Match the activity to each relevant regulator's requirements.

  3. 03

    Prepare premises and documents

Many licences involve premises inspection, so layout, hygiene and right-of-use documents matter.

  4. 04

    File and track renewals

File, follow up, and set renewal reminders so no licence lapses.

Questions we get

Can we sell as soon as the company exists?

It depends on the goods or services. Consulting and general services can often begin, but food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, tour operations and premises-based businesses usually need a licence first. We check case by case.

Can a virtual office address be used for a licence?

It works for registry and tax purposes, but licences involving inspection of production or retail premises need real premises meeting the regulator's conditions. We state upfront which licences are fine and which require physical premises.

Do you guarantee the licence will be granted?

No. Approval is the regulator's decision. Our job is complete, correct documentation and flagging risks early. We are not an agent of any government body.

We only just noticed a licence expired — now what?

Pause the activity that needs it, then check whether renewal is still possible or a fresh application is required — this varies by licence type and how long it lapsed. We sequence the fix and set up reminders.
